How we increased conversion rate by 65.3% for The Qube5 mins

The Qube approached us after seeing our work with companies in the UK. Their website was outdated, hard to manage, and didn’t reflect their evolving brand. Like many of our clients, they struggled with WordPress—constant plugin conflicts, slow performance, and a frustrating management experience. They had already rebranded (shot out to Gin Büro!) and wanted a website that looked modern, performed better, and was easier to maintain.
So the goals were clear to us:
- Better design – Clean, conversion-focused layout that aligns with their rebrand.
- Easier management – Moving away from WordPress to a no-code solution.
- Better user experience – Simplifying navigation and structure.
As a result of these improvements, their conversion rate naturally increased from 2.51% to 4.15%—a 65.3% boost.
The challenge: Why WordPress wasn’t working
The Qube team had firsthand experience with Webflow and already knew it was a better solution than WordPress. They were tired of the inefficiencies that came with their old website—constant maintenance, conflicting plugins, and design limitations. They needed something more flexible and scalable.
Our job was clear: build their new website from scratch in Webflow, ensuring it was faster, more intuitive, and aligned with their rebrand.
Our approach: A structured, collaborative process
We worked closely with The Qube’s marketing team and Annie Maguire, an exceptional copywriter, to build a website that looked great and performed even better. Our workflow was simple and structured:
- Website structure – All pages and sections first.
- Content implementation – Since they had copy ready, we integrated it into the structure.
- High-fidelity design – We created a modern, conversion-focused UI.
- Development in Webflow – Using the Client-First framework for clean, scalable code.
- Testing – We checked responsiveness, speed, and accessibility.
- Launch & optimization – Ensuring everything worked perfectly.
Throughout the process, we communicated daily via Slack and had regular calls to keep everything aligned.
Key improvements that made the difference
1. Clean, conversion-focused design
We redesigned the website to be simpler, more modern, and more accessible. Some of the major design changes included:
- More white space – Creating a breathable, easy-to-read layout.
- Better contrast & font sizes – Improving readability and accessibility.
- Simplified navigation – Making it easy for users to find key information.
- Clearer call-to-action (CTA) buttons – Encouraging engagement.
2. More efficient website
We built the website in Webflow, which is usually faster than WordPress. We also:
- Used CSS animations instead of bulky JavaScript.
- Structured the site with proper tags for better SEO.
- Optimized image sizes and assets for faster loading times.
3. Accessibility & WCAG compliance
We made sure the site followed accessibility best practices, including:
- Proper contrast ratios for readability.
- Clear form labels for easy navigation.
- Keyboard-friendly design for users with disabilities.
4. Fully responsive across all devices
The previous site wasn’t optimized well for mobile, which hurt conversions. We built the new site to be fully responsive, ensuring a smooth experience on all devices.
The results: A higher conversion rate & better user experience
With these improvements, The Qube’s conversion rate increased from 2.51% to 4.15%—a 65.3% boost. Though our main goal was to improve design and usability, the conversion rate naturally improved as a result.
We don’t have detailed analytics for other metrics yet, but we know from experience that:
- Faster websites reduce bounce rates.
- Simpler navigation keeps users engaged longer.
- Better design builds trust and encourages conversions.
This project showed how better design and performance can naturally lead to higher conversions—without aggressive sales tactics or marketing gimmicks.
Next steps: Ongoing optimization
Even with a successful launch, there’s always room for improvement. We recommended The Qube continue optimizing their website by:
- A/B testing using Webflow Analyze to refine conversion strategies.
- Creating dedicated landing pages for different campaigns and testing their performance.
By continuously improving, they can keep their conversion rate growing over time.
Final thoughts
This project was a perfect example of how a well-structured, thoughtfully designed website can transform a business’s online presence. The Qube team was fantastic to work with, and their preparation (having content ready) made the process smoother than usual.
Moving from WordPress to Webflow was the right choice for them—it made their website easier to manage, faster, and more user-friendly.
If you’re dealing with a frustrating website that doesn’t reflect your brand, consider making the switch. A better website isn’t just about looks—it’s about making your business more effective.
